QUILT TRIMMING
Once your quilt is quilted, I can trim your quilt upon request at no additional charge. You will see a section on the quilt workup sheet that gives you quilt trimming options, please circle the option you would prefer. All of your cut off batting and fabric will be returned to you.
QUILT BINDING
I offer a variety of quilt binding services. The customer is responsible for providing the binding material. All prices are per linear inch. To find your linear inches, add up all the sides of your quilt. For example, if your quilt is 45x60, then you would add 45+45+60+60 = 210 linear inches
Average wait time is 4 weeks from the date I receive your quilt.

Binding Options
$0.35 Hand Stitched
The binding will be machine sewn to the front and hand stitched down to the back of the quilt.
$0.45 Hand Stitched Flanged
The binding will be machine sewn to the back and hand stitched down to the front of the quilt on the fold of the flange.
Flanged binding: Main fabric strip 1.5" wide, flange fabric strip is 1.75" wide
$0.15 Machine Stitched
The binding will be machine stitched down to the back and then brought around to the front and finished on the front.
$0.20 Machine Stitched Flanged
The binding will be machine stitched down to the back and then brought around to the front and finished on the seam of the flange.
$0.10 One Side Attach
I will stitch the binding down by machine so that YOU can hand stitch it down.
$0.08 Wrapped from Backing
To use the backing fabric for a wraparound binding on a quilt, you will need at least 2 inches of backing fabric beyond the edge of the quilt top.
$0.35 Faced
The binding is attached to the front of the quilt, about a quarter inch from the edge and then pulled all the way over to the back of the quilt and hand stitched down. You will not see the binding on the front of the quilt. This method of binding is commonly used for wall hangings or modern style quilts.
Hanging Sleeve
Do you need a hanging sleeve added to your quilt? If you provide the fabric, I will make and attach the hanging sleeve for you. All you need is fabric that is 8.5 inches wide by the width of your quilt. For example, if your quilt is 80 inches wide, then you will need two strips of 8.5 inch wide fabric cut selvedge to selvedge. Please mark the top of your quilt with a safety pin or a note. There is a $15 charge for this. If I am quilting your quilt, please add this in your "Other Notes" section on the Quilt Workup Worksheet.
